グッドウィーバーから依頼を受けてデザインした、オリジナルスニーカー。「doek（ドゥック）」は日本語の「ズック」の語源となった言葉で、 オランダ語で「織物」を意味します。重要無形文化財でもある久留米絣（かすり）の商品企画・販売をしてきたグッドウィーバーの特性を生かすため、クラシカルなスニーカーをベースとした、生地が引き立つ簡素なデザインを目指しました。
The original sneakers are products designed in a project commissioned by GoodWeaver. The expression “doek” is the word of etymological origin for the Japanese expression “zukku” (canvas) and it is a Dutch word, with the meaning of “fabric.” The intention was to create a simple design based on classic sneakers, which brings out the characteristics of GoodWeaver, which is involved in the product planning and marketing of Kurumegasuri, which is an important intangible cultural property.
