スタヂオ・ヨー
スタヂオ・ヨーは溝口瑛・溝口京子による、家具や日用品、オブジェクトなどを手がけるデザインスタジオです。自然の営みや先人たちの仕事に敬意を払いつつ、日々の些細な気づきや思いやりをデザイン活動を通して生活に還していくこと。それが私たちの仕事です。
＜業務内容＞
スタヂオ・ヨーは、商品やプロジェクトの初期段階での構造整理や方向性の検討を起点として、デザインの実装に関わっています。以下はその一環として行う業務です。
○商品開発に関するコンセプト開発、プロダクトデザイン、CMF開発、設計、ネーミング開発、コピーライティング・原稿制作、グラフィックデザイン、パッケージデザイン、監修
○ブランディングに関するクリエイティブディレクション（アートディレクション、フィルムディレクション、ウェブディレクション）
○ミュージアムや文化的文脈を持つ場における、展示や展覧プロジェクト、および限定的なプロダクト・展示物の企画設計、制作監修

プロジェクトの内容によって、お引き受けできる範囲や関わり方が異なります。

溝口瑛（みぞぐち・よう）
プロダクトデザイナー／1985年鹿児島生まれ。九州大学芸術工学部工業設計学科を卒業後、株式会社ムーンスターに勤務。シューズブランド SHOES LIKE POTTERY を社内で立ち上げる。その後、THE CONRAN SHOP 福岡の VMD を経て2014年独立。九州大学大学芸術工学研究院学術研究員を兼任（2014.10-2015.3）。2018年に溝口京子とスタヂオ・ヨーを立ち上げ、現在に至る。

溝口京子（みぞぐち・きょうこ）
ディレクター・コピーライター／1978年福岡生まれ。主な仕事に、サグラダファミリア大聖堂 彫刻主任 外尾悦郎彫刻作品集「言の葉」の編集および執筆、天神IMS×DESIGNING共同企画「わたしの場所」執筆、映画館「CIEMA」ネーミング開発など。 スタヂオ・ヨーでは、商品の幹となるコンセプト開発を中心にディレクション・コピーライティングを行う。

studioYO
StudioYO is a Japan-based design studio founded by Yoh Mizoguchi and Kyoko Mizoguchi, working with furniture, everyday objects, and small artifacts. With respect for the workings of nature and the wisdom of those who came before us, our practice explores how subtle moments of awareness and care can be shaped through design, and returned to everyday life that continues.
Selected works include:
“△” (2025) for Benesse Art Site Naoshima / Chichu Art Museum, “Three-legged Drawer” (2021, IFDA Silver Leaf Prize), and “Newtons” (2020), developed with traditional Shizuoka turnery.
StudioYO was invited to exhibit at “TIME SPACE EXISTENCE 2023” by the European Cultural Centre in Venice.
SCOPE
StudioYO engages in design primarily at the earliest stages of products and projects, focusing on clarifying structure and establishing direction before making begins.
Our work may include product design, branding direction,
and exhibition-related projects situated within cultural or institutional contexts.

Yoh Mizoguchi
Product designer. Born in Kagoshima in 1985. Graduated from the Department of Industrial Design, School of Design, Kyushu University. Began working at MoonStar Company. Initiated and led the inception of the shoe brand “Shoes Like Pottery” at MoonStar. Headed VMD at ‘The Conran Shop’ in Fukuoka from 2012. Went independent in 2014. Founded StudioYO with Kyoko Mizoguchi in 2018 and currently works there. Academic background includes serving as Research Fellow at the Faculty of Design, Kyushu University (2014.10–2015.3)
Kyoko Mizoguchi
Director and copywriter. Born in Fukuoka in 1978. Principle work has included editing and writing the “Kotonoha” of the sculptures of Sotoo Etsuro, who sculpted at the Sagrada Família Basilica, writing Tenjin IMS×Designing “My Place,” and developing the name of movie theater “Ciema.” Provides direction and copywriting for the development of core product concepts.

Konatsu
Age unknown. Jack Russell Terrier rescued by the Kitakyushu Department of Public Health in 2010. Appointed as CEO of StudioYO in December 2018. Special skills include shaking hands with both paws!
