溝口瑛・溝口京子による、家具や日用品、オブジェクトなどを手がけるデザインスタジオ。自然の営みや先人たちの仕事に敬意を払いつつ、日々の些細な気づきや思いやりをデザイン活動を通して生活に還していくこと。それが私たちの仕事です。

プロジェクトの初期段階における構造整理を起点とし、統合的にデザインを実装します。

溝口瑛（みぞぐち・よう）
プロダクトデザイナー。九州大学芸術工学部工業設計学科卒業。株式会社ムーンスターにて「SHOES LIKE POTTERY」を立ち上げ。THE CONRAN SHOP 福岡のVMDを経て、2014年独立。2018年、溝口京子と共にスタヂオ・ヨーを設立。九州大学芸術工学研究院 学術研究員（2014-2015）、九州産業大学芸術学部 非常勤講師。
溝口京子（みぞぐち・きょうこ）
ディレクター、コピーライター。主な仕事に、サグラダ・ファミリア大聖堂彫刻主任・外尾悦郎作品集の編集・執筆、天神IMS×DESIGNING共同企画「わたしの場所」執筆、映画館「CIEMA」ネーミング開発等。スタヂオ・ヨーでは、思考の核となるコンセプト開発を担う。

studioYO
StudioYO is a Japan-based design studio founded by Yoh Mizoguchi and Kyoko Mizoguchi, working with furniture, everyday objects, and small artifacts. With respect for the workings of nature and the wisdom of those who came before us, our practice explores how subtle moments of awareness and care can be shaped through design, and returned to everyday life that continues.

SCOPE
Integrating design by clarifying structure at the earliest stages of each project.

Product designer. Graduated from the Department of Industrial Design, School of Design, Kyushu University. Directed the launch of “SHOES LIKE POTTERY” at MoonStar Company. After overseeing VMD at THE CONRAN SHOP Fukuoka, established an independent practice in 2014. Co-founded StudioYO with Kyoko Mizoguchi in 2018. Research Fellow, Faculty of Design, Kyushu University (2014–2015); Adjunct Lecturer, Kyushu Sangyo University.
Kyoko Mizoguchi
Director and copywriter. Selected works include editing and writing an art book for Etsuro Sotoo (Chief Sculptor of the Sagrada Família), writing “My Place” for Tenjin IMS × DESIGNING, and naming the cinema “CIEMA”. At StudioYO, she leads core concept development.

Age unknown. Jack Russell Terrier rescued by the Kitakyushu Department of Public Health in 2010. Appointed as CEO of StudioYO in December 2018. Special skills include shaking hands with both paws!
