福岡で原種の蘭を中心に取り扱う専門店「プラセール ワークショップ」のオリジナルプロダクト。元々、蘭の園芸業者のために生まれたといわれる日本の素焼鉢を、形状、機能共に「原種の蘭のための素焼鉢」として特化させました。自由自在に葉や根を伸ばす原種の蘭に対して自由度を与えるため、すり鉢状の鉢底によって傾くようになっています。この傾きは視覚的なものだけではなく、排水効率を高め、通気を確保する機能を兼ねたものです。また、風や横からの力を受けても回転することで力を逃がすので、見た目以上の安定感を持っています。専用のロッドとゴム栓によりハンギングも可能です。
The OrchidPot is an original product of the 'PLACERWORKSHOP,' which is a specialty store focused primarily on handling an original strain of orchid.
The Japanese unglazed pot, which is said to have been created to cater to horticulturists of orchids, is specialized in terms of both shape and function as an “unglazed pot for the original strain of orchid.” The pot leans on its mortar-shaped base, giving the original strain of orchid room to freely spread out its leaves and roots. The effectiveness of this lean serves not merely to provide visual aesthetics, but also functions to improve draining efficiency and secure aeration. The OrchidPot can also rotate to escape wind or sideways forces, so it is more stable than it appears. It can also be hung by using a special rod and rubber plug.
